Say No to Hate Crime Youth Festival 2022

GYG (Gifted Young Gravesham) takes over the Fort Gardens at The Prom in Gravesend for one afternoon only with DJ Teeshow.

About this event

If you're aged 13 to 19 years old (up to 25 years with additional needs) you won't want to miss this great big afternoon of dancing, laughing and celebrating.

GYG (Gifted Young Gravesham) takes over the Fort Gardens at The Prom in Gravesend (AKA Riverside Promenade) for one afternoon only to launch GYG's new film - Report It! Say no to Hate Crime.

GYG worked with every secondary school in the borough to create the film and every school has committed to help stop hate crimes.

They'll be:

  • live music performed by young people from the local area. Line-up TBA.

  • Captial radio host DJ Teeshow.

  • Stalls form youth organisations where you can find out about different youth projects in the local area.

  • Different organisations which represent the different Hate Crime groups (LGBTQ+, religious groups, disability for example)

  • They'll be food and drink vendors on site too.

You need to ticket to get in as it's strictly limited numbers.

But the good news is TICKETS ARE FREE.
